In this role, you'll 👀

Together with our Finance Manager, you will be responsible for routines around daily bookkeeping, month-end activities, and year-ends. The tasks will vary from traditional bookkeeping tasks to debtor/creditor management, invoicing, payroll, VAT/tax, intercompany transactions, and what else is handled in a conventional finance department.

You will also be responsible for building and implementing an efficient and scalable month-end close process, this also entitles establishing and optimizing processes around both new and established systems and routines.

What you'll need to succeed🤩

• Experienced, with a solid background in Accounting and Payroll with at least 5 years of experience in accounting and payroll-related tasks. You are motivated by working across different areas within accounting.

• Hands-on, analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive and process-oriented.

• Eager to learn new software programs and applications.

• Experienced with Economics and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Enthusiastic about thinking outside of the box and influencing change.

• A great communicator with a desire to work cross-functionally to achieve common goals🙌

It's important to know that there will therefore be a handover and training in systems and routines in the first period from our sister company, Emendo Consulting. Please note: We will only be reviewing applicants in Copenhagen/Denmark.

Our Interview process

• You apply with your CV and cover letter. Continuous interviews will be conducted, therefore we recommend applying as soon as possible.

• A 30-minute call with Khristel, our recruiter, to discuss Blackbird and learn more about you. We'll set expectations for the rest of the process and provide a question-and-answer period. 

• If all goes well, you will then be invited to our offices in Nordhavn. We love to meet up face-to-face over a coffee with our Finance managers, Victor and Lotte☕

• The practicalities (~45m): Closing talk with our Finance managers in which you will agree on compensation, starting date, and all other practical details.
