Aside from having a solid background in accounting, controlling, and financial reporting - we're also looking for someone who likes data and digitalization. To be successful, you must always keep your overviews relevant, up-to-date, and forward-looking.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a CFO or a senior financial executive in a SaaS company.
  • Experience in guiding companies through rapid growth phases, ideally from a similar headcount range.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of SaaS business models and metrics.
  • Experience in fundraising and working with investors.
  • Familiarity with M&A processes and strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial technologies and data analytics.

What you will be doing

Financial Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and long-term vision.
  • Create and manage financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Provide financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.

Fundraising and Capital Management:

  • Evaluate financing options and manage relationships with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient capital utilization and maintain a healthy balance between equity and debt financing.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial data to identify key performance indicators and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to support the company's operations, investments, and growth initiatives.
  • Implement effective working capital management strategies.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

  • Participate and manage M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
  • Identify potential acquisition targets or strategic partnerships that align with the company's growth goals. Includes managing and participating in post-merger activities.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Assess and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
  • Mentor and develop finance professionals to support the company's growth.

Technology and Data Integration:

  • Leverage financial technology and analytics tools to enhance financial operations and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure seamless data integration and reporting.

What You will be valued for

  • Wherever you go, you carry a positive attitude, a can-do attitude, and an authentic sense of kindness.
  • You're honest, trustworthy, and thoughtful as a team member.
