Who we’re looking for

At Factbird, the sales team serves as a trusted advisor for prospects and customers. As an Account Executive on the US sales team, you will work with prospects through the entire buying process, from initial evaluation to close, and through onboarding of the entire team while being the primary point of contact. You will have the opportunity to impact mid-size businesses in a big way daily.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Positioning the value of our product with stakeholders through phone, email and demos. As a trusted advisor, having the product knowledge, passion, and people skills to help the prospect make the best decision for their needs.
  • Effectively manage a pipeline of Inbound/Outbound opportunities to consistently drive revenue for the company and strong ROI for our customers.
  • Become an expert in assessing the use case of the prospect (IIoT Industry) and customizing your presentation based on the prospects company size, industry and desired customer experience.
  • Proactively report on learnings and valuable feedback to the product team so that we can improve the product and prioritize the right projects.
  • A deep knowledge of our evolving product and understanding the nuances of how it can be used to support prospects accordingly.
  • Responsible for hitting sales metrics of success (quota/KPIs) as well as providing timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility into revenue performance.
  • Taking charge of the communicated must-win battles for the year and owning it.
  • Working with your BDR team to ensure alignment of inbound opportunities and to make effective use of the initial meeting.

 

What makes you a great fit?

  • A top performer in a mid-market sales role with 2+ years’ experience closing net new logos (SaaS/Hardware experience is a bonus but not required).
  •  A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales quota and how you achieved this success.
  • Self-motivated, driven to succeed with a focus on winning and helping your customers achieve their goals.
  • Ability to apply consultative and team-selling sales strategies in a competitive market.
  •  Highly organized and able to manage several responsibilities at once.
  • Experience with tracking all sales activity and reports in customer relationship management software (HubSpot experience preferred but not required).
  •  Experience with sales methodologies (SPIN/MEDDIC preferred but not required).
  • As the primary point of contact, the ability to wear several hats: sales, support, customer success as well as the point person for mobilizing your teammates for support.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the prospect of building your own territory business and hitting your quarterly and annual goals.
